Bitcoin has never escaped this August pattern.
In the past three years, Bitcoin suffered a sharp decline after the start of August following the US midterm elections.
2014 → Bitcoin entered a sustained downtrend.
2018 → The weakness in August ultimately led to a crash in the fourth quarter.
2022 → Bitcoin rebounded again, eventually hitting a cycle bottom later that year.
Now it's 2026.
Another US midterm election year.
Bitcoin is entering the same seasonal window, and the market has already begun to weaken.
This pattern doesn't need to repeat itself on every single candlestick.
But the previous three midterm election cycles all saw significant declines after the start of August.
2014.
2018.
2022.
Three midterm election years. Three sharp declines.
The next one is 2026.
Historical experience suggests that the most dangerous period of the year may have just begun.

I just spoke with someone close to the negotiations and I feel much more at ease.
Although numerous reports and signs indicate that Trump has decided to launch a strong strike against Iran, he is more likely to increase pressure first, and then announce the Comprehensive Anti-Terrorism Agreement (TACO) at the last minute after a "breakthrough" in negotiations.
A strike remains a realistic possibility, but the likelihood of an out-of-control, full-scale war is very small.
I hope he's right…

China spent seven years and £255 million to secure a property in London. Now, the United States wants to take it away before China can move in.
The High Court has just rejected residents' legal challenge to China's plan to build a mega-embassy on Royal Mint Court, which would become the largest embassy in Europe.
The residents are appealing. If they win, the land will be put back on the market for acquisition.
Reports indicate that if the appeal is successful, US State Department officials and the US Embassy in London have discussed purchasing the land directly. This is not only a prime location but also a way to drive China out of central London.
Formal negotiations have not yet begun. No agreement can be reached without British involvement and a potential Chinese defeat.

🇺🇸🇮🇷 Trump may be preparing for the biggest gamble of his presidency.
Iranian analyst Nima Rostami Al-Khorshid says reports of US and Israeli attacks on Iranian energy infrastructure would mark a major escalation of the situation, something Tehran has been preparing for for years.
First, let's look at the targets.
The plan is reportedly not just to target missile launchers or military installations.
It aims to strike the infrastructure that underpins the Iranian economy, while simultaneously weakening its ability to retaliate in an operation that could last days or even weeks.
Nima believes Iran's response plan has long been in place.
Israel will remain the primary target, but oil facilities, power infrastructure, and US military assets in the Gulf region will also be targeted.
This is not because Tehran wants to wage a larger war.
It's because it wants to make it clear to Washington that an attack on the Iranian economy will immediately escalate into an attack on the entire region's economy.
This brings us to the issue of the Strait of Hormuz.
Nima believes the dispute isn't truly about charging transit fees to ships, but rather about security.
Iran has witnessed the flow of weapons, missiles, and military equipment through the region during the conflict and therefore wants to control the flow of goods into the Gulf. In his view, controlling entry is now seen by Tehran as crucial to preventing another war.
He believes the crux of the struggle lies in whether the Middle East will continue to be dominated by the United States or move towards a new regional balance of power.
If neither side is willing to compromise on this issue, the duration of this military operation could far exceed anyone's expectations.

1.7 Million USDT Stolen from Gate Platform – Personal Public Statement:
I authorized Gate to submit my ID card holder and liveness verification video for authentication. Based on the evidence currently available, the attacker did not directly obtain my ID card (front and back), original email address, SMS verification code, or Google Authenticator.
The entire incident appears to have unfolded as follows: The attacker obtained partial information from my Gate account, bypassed Gate's verification process using forged ID card holder and fake liveness verification, replaced all original security settings, ultimately gained control of the account, and transferred 1.7 million USDT.
After the police asked me to identify the ID card holder submitted by Gate, I confirmed:
* The ID card is not mine;
* The address on the document is completely incorrect, even lacking the most basic province;
* The font, size, and length of the ID card number are clearly abnormal;
* The person in the photo is not me;
* The entire document shows obvious signs of Photoshop manipulation and forgery.
Why could such obviously fake ID card holder and fake liveness verification pass Gate's risk control verification?
The attackers bypassed Gate's verification process by using forged ID photos of the attacker holding their own person and a liveness detection video, replacing all original security features and ultimately gaining control of the account and transferring 1.7 million USDT.
Despite such clear facts, Gate still claims "the platform bears no responsibility." Please stop blatantly lying and stop using contradictory and irrelevant responses to confuse the public. Please truthfully reconstruct the entire incident and provide the police, affected users, and the public with the truth.
Since Gate insists that its platform verification and risk control are sound and has publicly stated "100% compensation if it is the platform's responsibility," I now formally authorize: Gate to submit the original ID photos of the attacker holding their own person, the liveness detection video, and the complete verification records to a qualified independent forensic institution for authentication, and to publicly release the authentication conclusions and necessary anonymized evidence.
Gate can send the relevant materials to my email address: [email protected], where I will personally commission an authoritative institution to conduct the authentication. This email address is also open to the public to collect important clues and other key information in this case.
If the authentication results prove that the ID card held in hand is authentic and valid, or that the person in the liveness detection video is indeed me, I will no longer pursue legal action against Gate and will publicly apologize to Gate.
Conversely, if the authentication confirms that the ID card held in hand is forged, the liveness detection video is not of me, and the withdrawal was not made by me, this is sufficient to prove that the attacker used false identity materials to bypass Gate's verification and risk control system.
My funds are held on the Gate platform. I have reported the incident to the police, and the police have officially opened a case. The existing evidence is sufficient to prove that the withdrawals were not made by me. The attacker used forged ID card held in hand and a liveness detection video of someone other than myself to pass Gate's verification, thereby gaining control of the account and transferring assets. Since Gate insists that "the platform has no responsibility," then please provide evidence to prove that these two authentication materials are authentic and valid, and that the liveness detection video is indeed of me. Otherwise, on what basis can Gate simply claim that "the platform has no responsibility" and shift all the losses onto the victimized user?
On the surface, it appears my account was hacked; however, in essence, the attackers first breached Gate's security verification system using fake identity materials and without my verification, before gaining control of the account and transferring assets. The real target wasn't just my personal account, but Gate's identity verification and financial security system.
Gate, please don't get your priorities wrong: uncovering the truth, cooperating with the investigation, and taking responsibility are your most important tasks right now.

Elon Musk says artificial intelligence will dominate every field, just as mobile apps dominate chess.
You can run the Stockfish app on your phone and beat the world champion. He believes AI will reach that level in software development and then expand to all other fields:
- Digital AI will reach that level in software development and then transcend software development to become the leader in all fields.
- Manual labor requires built-in intelligence like that of humanoid robots, which has not yet been achieved.
- Robots will become end-effectors with localized intelligence, controlled by large AI models. He has repeatedly stated that he believes work will become dispensable.

After a two-week break, I'm getting ready to go back to work tomorrow. While eating just now, I reviewed South Korea's July export data again: semiconductor exports increased by 179% year-on-year, and computer exports increased by 404%. Those interested can check the details on the South Korean website. I still hold DRAM, MU, and MRVL, and my first reaction was definitely a sigh of relief. The AI hardware market was hammered so badly a few days ago; the market felt like data centers were about to shut down.
The surge in South Korean semiconductor exports is driven by both rising storage prices and continued demand for AI servers. The 404% increase in computer exports indicates that the demand from US tech giants expanding their data centers is still being realized. The market is now questioning when AI capital expenditures will become profitable and how much depreciation will eat into profits, not that servers are suddenly no longer in demand. Stocks can fall due to overvaluation and high expectations, but a drop in stock price doesn't mean industry demand has disappeared.
Of course, 179% and 404% figures can't be used to immediately call for a new major upward trend. Year-on-year base figures, price increases, and advance stockpiling can all amplify the numbers. I still have my positions, and I've still taken a hit. I now prefer to interpret this data as the AI story not dying, but the stock price can no longer rely on the story to survive.

This recent stock market crash in the US has caused many experienced traders to lose money. Can you blame it on a lack of understanding? What they could possibly earn in a single trade is something I'd need to do ten trades to make, while they might need 100 trades and still not be able to.
I analyze and study every frame of each post. It's truly a pity that I lost out in the US stock market this time. A drop like this in the US stock market is something you rarely see in a decade. Looking at the memory and semiconductor sectors alone, someone unfamiliar with the market might think it's another financial crisis.
As for those of us who shorted, I think we were just lucky traders. The key is proper position management and respect for the market.

🔥JUST IN: Tokenization isn't "for hype."
Chetan Karkhanis states bluntly: It's only worthwhile if it's cheaper, better, and faster.
Of the $14 trillion market, only $15 billion has been tokenized; the window of opportunity is still open.
Will you enter sooner, or wait for technological validation?
