According to CoinMeta, the leader of the minority party in the U.S. Senate, Chuck Schumer, has proposed the "Anti-Corruption Agency Establishment Act," which aims to create a specialized agency to investigate, enforce laws, and prevent corruption within the executive branch. The bill mentions that Trump disclosed investment income of over $2 billion for 2025, of which $1.4 billion was related to cryptocurrencies. His family holds more than $1 billion in crypto funds associated with foreign governments. The White House stated that Trump's related investments are held in fully entrusted accounts managed by independent third-party financial institutions, and there is no conflict of interest. The bill was co-sponsored by Andy Kim, Alex Padilla, and Jeff Merkley, and still requires support from the Republican Party.
