According to CoinMeta, Tesla (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.'s "in-vehicle voice large model service" completed the registration for generative artificial intelligence services on April 20th and will be integrated with DouBao and DeepSeek. According to the "Tesla In-Vehicle Voice Assistant Terms of Use" published on Tesla's official Chinese website, model and Y L models will be equipped with the DouBao large model and the DeepSeek model, both of which are integrated through Huoshan Engine encryption API. DouBao is responsible for handling voice commands, covering navigation settings, media playback, air conditioning temperature adjustment, and querying the owner's manual, while DeepSeek is responsible for AI interaction, used for casual conversations, news queries, weather checks, and more. Tesla China has begun to roll out the 2026.14.13 version in batches, and model S, model 3, model X, and model Y models will all be integrated with the DouBao large model voice assistant. The new assistant can provide real-time information and enable continuous natural conversations. Users can also choose from different voices and roles such as "All-Knowing," "Music Lover," and "Storyteller."
