According to CoinMeta, as reported by Yonhap, the net outflow of South Korean stablecoins has become comparable to the country's overseas stock investments, with a total net outflow of $10.4 billion over the past 18 months. In June alone, the outflow amount accounted for 77.6% of foreign stock purchases, compared to just 20% a year ago. Overseas exchanges are listing futures on Samsung, SK Hynix, and Hyundai Motor, with leverage levels as high as several dozen times, leading to funds flowing out of domestic platforms.
