According to CoinMeta, trader “xm39” on July 31 evening closed all of their remaining 82,700 lots (CL) of long positions in crude oil, with a transaction volume of approximately $6.904 million and an average closing price of $83.52, resulting in a profit of about $97,000. Shortly after the relevant information was disclosed, this account re-established long positions, first buying 38,400 lots at an average price of $81.08 during the continued decline in oil prices that morning, and then added another 86,700 lots at an average price of $79.93. As of the time of writing, this account currently holds a full position of 125,100 lots of crude oil with a 20-fold leverage, valued at about $9.97 million. The average cost of building these positions is $80.28, with a floating loss of about $75,000 (-15.0%), and the liquidation price is $78.12, which is only about $1.56 below the current price.
