Index Ventures Completes $2 Billion in Financing, Focusing on Investing in the Field of AI

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Sifted, Index Ventures has completed a new round of financing of $2 billion, bringing the total scale of its investable assets to $3.5 billion. This round of financing includes $400 million in seed funds, $900 million in early-stage venture capital, and an additional $700 million for the growth stage fund, which has increased in size from $150 million to $220 million. Index Ventures will use these funds to support founders in Europe, Israel, and the United States, with a core focus on the AI sector. The firm has already invested in Mistral, Cohere, and Ineffable Intelligence. Among the portfolio's investments, Wiz was acquired by Google for $32 million. Figma completed its IPO initiative, and Revolut sold its shares on the secondary market, achieving a valuation of $115 million.
