According to CoinMeta, BitGo CEO Mike Belshe issued a challenge to Claude AI, inviting them to transfer 100 bitcoins stored in the wallet at BitGo. He shared the wallet address in a public post and stated that if Claude AI could do so, they would be allowed to take the funds. This move sparked important discussions regarding wallet security, hacker attacks, and multi-signature protection. Although as of August 2nd, blockchain data showed that the bitcoins had not been transferred and the wallet still contained the same amount of coins, this challenge attracted widespread attention within the crypto community. Belshe believes that it is necessary to test the security of the AI system in a real-world environment and emphasizes the importance of multi-signature wallets in protecting bitcoins.
