FalconX Cuts 10% of Staff to Cope with the Downward Trend in the Crypto Market

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bloomberg, FalconX has cut about 10% of its global workforce amid the downturn in the crypto market, affecting approximately 35 positions. The company operates in the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Hong Kong, among other places, but has not yet disclosed which specific teams or roles were affected by the layoffs. FalconX plans to focus on crypto derivatives trading in Singapore and will withdraw its license application from the Singapore Financial Markets Authority, but it will not completely withdraw from the Asian market. The company also completed the acquisition of 21Shares in 2025, further strengthening its institutional and asset management business.
