KaiXia launches the GP1 series of high-performance solid-state drives to seize the AI storage market
2026-08-04 13:01:46
According to CoinMeta, KaiXia officially announced its first Kioxia GP1 solid-state drive series that supports direct access to high-speed flash memory using the GPU technology. This product achieves an ultimate random read performance of 100MB/s and is designed to support the emerging AI storage architecture that incorporates high-speed flash memory into video memory systems. This approach enables AI systems to access larger datasets at a cost far lower than that of adding additional HBM, while also improving GPU utilization.
