According to CoinMeta, Apple was accused in a lawsuit of failing to effectively revoke access rights to information after employees left the company. Several former employees stated that although most internal permissions were revoked after they left, they were still able to access confidential files in iCloud, iMessage, and unmanaged folders through their personal Apple ID, and even received update notifications. In its lawsuit against OpenAI, Apple claimed that two former employees intentionally downloaded or transferred unpublished product and supply chain information. OpenAI denied these accusations and publicly released chat records to refute Apple's claims, stating that some of the access to this information was at the request of Apple colleagues. Apple also accused former engineer Chang Liu of using system vulnerabilities to download confidential files, while OpenAI is currently mainly refuting some of the accusations against Liu.
