Blackstone Launches Tokenized Access to a $311 Billion European Money Market Fund

According to CoinMeta, Blackstone ( BlackRock ) has launched tokenized access to $311 billion in money market funds in Europe, further expanding its tokenized cash products in the United States. Blackstone has introduced 12 new types of tokenized shares based on six funds, in compliance with the European Union's ( UCITS ) regulations, covering share categories in British pounds, euros, and US dollars. This move was announced a day before Blackstone added two more tokenized cash products in the US. Blackstone's CEO, Larry Fink ( Larry Fink ), has repeatedly advocated for tokenization technology to modernize financial markets. According to ( RWA.xyz ) data, the market for tokenized real assets has grown by over 200% in the past year, reaching $30 billion, and Citibank expects that tokenized securities could reach $5.5 trillion by 2030. Tokenized funds are aimed at corporate finance officers who already use money market funds for management and cash reserves, as well as asset managers and investment advisors in both traditional and digital markets.
