According to CoinMeta, Wu said that DWF Labs managing partner Andrei Grachev responded to recent disputes over DEXE transactions by stating that the team purchased a large amount of DEXE in 2024, sold some of the tokens in 2025 for a profit, and repurchased them around October 10th before hedging their gains in the first half of 2026. After the funding rate turned negative, the team closed their short positions and sold some DEXE cash to replenish their cash reserves. He mentioned that all related transactions were conducted through centralized exchanges and could be verified through the account UID. Previously, the price of DEXE fell from $49.42 to $1.56 within 11 days, a decrease of about 96.8%. On-chain data shows that since July 13th, CeFFu has transferred approximately 798,000 DEXE to Binance, worth about $6.15 million. Since CeFFu serves as the custodian for DEXE's partner Falcon Finance, and DWF Labs is also on DEXE's official list of partners.
