New round of security talks between Lebanon and Israel held in Rome

According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Italian media, Lebanon and Israel commenced a new round of security negotiations on August 4th in Rome, the capital of Italy, with mediation by the United States. The talks focused on border security arrangements between the two countries and the implementation of the framework agreement reached at the end of June in Washington, D.C. This round of negotiations was held at the U.S. Embassy in Italy and lasted for three days. The discussions mainly centered around facilitating the withdrawal of Israeli troops from southern Lebanon, unresolved border disputes, and the disarmament of Hezbollah in Lebanon. Both Lebanese and Israeli parties sent technical delegations to participate in the negotiations.
