According to CoinMeta, DeepSeek has reached 299 million text requests on the OpenRouter platform this week, accounting for 27.1% of the platform's total, surpassing Google, which previously led for a long time with 277 million requests during the same period, accounting for 25.0%. OpenAI ranks third with 185 million requests, accounting for 16.8%. This ranking is based on the combined statistics of text requests from model manufacturers. Requests generated by models such as DeepSeek, v4, flash, v4, and pro are all recorded under DeepSeek. The growth of DeepSeek is mainly driven by the v4 series. After OpenRouter was disclosed and v4 was released, the share of DeepSeek roughly doubled within half a year, with the growth mainly coming from agent tasks. One month after v4 and flash were launched, they already accounted for 70% of the usage of DeepSeek, agent, and token.
