According to CoinMeta, the mainnet of Sei has completed the v6.6 upgrade, and two major upgrades, Ares and Eidos, which were planned for Giga, have officially been launched. After the Ares upgrade is initiated, the v2 executor will be gradually phased out. The Eidos upgrade will implement a two-year separation of on-chain and off-chain states, and the historical data of EVM will be migrated to an independent database. This upgrade fixes over 30 issues, optimizes node synchronization efficiency, consensus timeout parameters, error-prone configuration items, and data trimming mechanisms, and also improves developer-related functions such as receipt generation, JSON-RPC error handling, and historical call tracking.
