According to CoinMeta, and as cited by Al Jazeera reporting on Iranian media, an informed Iranian official stated that U.S. intervention and the threat of military action are the main reasons why the agreement between Iran and Oman regarding the Strait of Hormuz has been postponed. The official said, "The main reason for the delay in reaching an agreement between Iran and Oman over the Strait of Hormuz issue is U.S. intervention and Trump's threats." The official added, "As long as U.S. intervention and the threat of a military attack on Iran exist, the agreement will be postponed."
