2026-08-05 12:54:53
According to CoinMeta, as reported by Yahoo Finance, the Financial Supervision Administration Commission of Taiwan, China (FSC) has announced that it will implement virtual asset transfer rules in phases. Starting from October 2026, when the amount transferred between virtual asset service providers exceeds NT$30,000, the sender must provide additional identification information for both the sender and the recipient. Natural persons are required to provide their date of birth and address, while legal entities need to provide their official identification numbers and registered addresses. At the same time, the recipient is responsible for verifying the consistency of the received information with the customer's records. Cross-border transfers are expected to be implemented by the end of 2027. These rules are aimed at enforcing anti-money laundering regulations (AML) and enhancing the traceability of virtual asset transactions.
