Infineon's quarterly revenue guidance exceeds expectations, demand for AI data center chips continues to rise
2026-08-05 13:54:58
According to CoinMeta, German chip manufacturer Infineon stated in a statement on Wednesday that for the fourth fiscal quarter of September, it expects revenue to reach around 4.7 billion euros (5.4 billion US dollars), with analysts' average forecast being 4.6 billion euros. This is mainly due to the growing demand for data center chips and rising prices. Infineon's CEO, Jochen Hanebeck, said, "The demand for our power solutions in artificial intelligence data centers remains strong and will continue to be our most important growth driver." This performance forecast may help alleviate concerns about the sustainability of the current wave of artificial intelligence spending. Infineon's stock price has risen by 69% so far this year.
