Based on data from the loan market, the 30-year fixed-rate mortgage averaged 6.60%, which is 4 basis points lower than yesterday; the 15-year fixed-rate mortgage was 6.09%, up 2 basis points from yesterday; and the 5/1 ARM mortgage rate was 6.79%, up 6 basis points from Tuesday.
