Lummis: The CLARITY bill failed to be voted on due to a busy schedule

According to CoinMeta, Senator Cynthia Lummis stated that the CLARITY bill is not stalled due to a single issue, but rather because the Senate's agenda has been overshadowed by five other priorities, preventing a vote from taking place before the August recess. In an interview with Fox Business Channel, Lummis pointed out that the Senate may not be able to complete the vote by Friday as originally planned, which means that senators may need to continue working over the weekend. The CLARITY bill competes with a continuing resolution to avoid a government shutdown at the end of September. Lummis mentioned that negotiators worked until late at night on the CFTC provisions of the bill and continued to refine the enforcement language, and have begun to gain support from law enforcement agencies. She noted that the bill contains an unprecedented ethical provision that restricts the president's activities, something no previous president has done before. The Democratic side has submitted a counter-proposal to the White House. Lummis believes that the bill will receive a vote, and the responsibility lies with all parties who failed to facilitate it. She also mentioned that the CLARITY bill, the NIL bill, and the continuing resolution are expected to be voted on this week, while the reconciliation bill and the farm bill may have to wait until September.
