According to CoinMeta, the United Arab Emirates has withstood the risks of the Strait of Hormuz, and in the past two months, the volume of crude oil transported through this strait has surpassed that of any other oil-producing country, providing much-needed supply buffers for the global market that is facing a historic energy crisis. According to data from the energy data agency Kpler, an ultra-large oil tanker carrying UAE cargo appeared in the Gulf of Oman on Tuesday after turning off its Automatic Identification System (AIS) signal at the end of July; the tanker was loaded with crude oil from the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). Since early June, ADNOC has sold over 130 million barrels of crude oil through seven unprecedented tenderings.
