According to CoinMeta, Coinbase has launched 24/5 trading services for nearly 4,000 US stocks to eligible British users, supporting zero-commission and fractional share investments with a minimum investment of 1 pound sterling. Transactions can be funded in pounds or via USDC instant recharges, and the stocks are held in custody by Apex Clearing. Coinbase recently obtained a license from the British MiFID authorities.
