Hong Kong police update on the progress of the Fun Coffee scam; losses involved have risen to HK$104 million

According to CoinMeta, as reported by Hong Kong 01, the Hong Kong police have updated information on the Fun Coffee scam. As of August 5th, a total of 255 reports have been received, with the total loss amounting to approximately HKD 104 million. The Macau Police have arrested two women in connection with 9 cases involving a sum of about 3.6 million Macau patacas. The Hong Kong police will contact the TVB artist who hosted the related events for investigation.
