According to CoinMeta, as cited by Russian media rbc quoting multiple sources from the brokerage industry, the Moscow Exchange is preparing to launch an independent digital asset custody platform for the custody and registration of crypto assets, with an expected launch at the end of 2026 or the beginning of 2027. This platform will operate as an independent infrastructure and will not be integrated into existing trading systems or the Russian National Settlement and Depository Center. Under the newly passed "Digital Currencies and Digital Rights Law," relevant regulatory requirements will come into effect on September 1st. In the future, Russia's legal crypto market may see the formation of multiple liquidity centers, including the Moscow Exchange and the Russian Federal Savings Bank.
