According to CoinMeta, OpenAI is reportedly testing a paid reset feature for Codex, with users of Pro being able to pay up to $80 at a time. Developer Tibor Blaho discovered relevant fields in the public billing configurations and ChatGPT website resources. Screenshots show that the low/high price tiers for Plus are $5 and $8, for Pro Lite they are $25 and $40, and for Pro they are $50 and $80. The specific differences between the tiers have not been disclosed yet, and all prices are exclusive of taxes. Currently, OpenAI allows Plus and Pro users to purchase additional credits after their quotas are exhausted; some promotions also offer a bonus number of reset attempts that can be stored. A complete reset will restore both the 5-hour quota and the weekly quota, and it will also push back the time for the next weekly quota reset by about 7 days.
