According to CoinMeta, as reported by Iranian media Fars News, the Iranian parliament is reviewing a draft bill that would strengthen control over the transit rules of the Strait of Hormuz and the Persian Gulf. The main recommendations include: prohibiting vessels associated with the United States, Israel, and other hostile countries from passing; restricting the transport of military and civilian goods related to Israel; denying navigation to entities that are supposed to pay compensation to Iran; and imposing fines of up to 20% of the value of the goods for violations.
