According to CoinMeta, Fairshake’s subsidiaries Defend American Jobs and Protect Progress have disclosed investing over $1.5 million in advertising for four congressional candidates in the primary elections on August 18th in Alaska, Florida, and Wyoming. Among them, Nick Begich, Sydney Gruters, and Harriet Hageman each received approximately $500,000 in support, while Lois Frankel received over $50,000 in support. Begich, Hageman, and Frankel have all supported Genius Act and Clarity Act. Previously, Protect Progress invested over $2 million in supporting Representative Shri Thanedar from Michigan, but he lost in the primary elections. Fairshake and related crypto industry organizations are using the legislators’ voting records on the crypto market structure bill as an important reference for funding their campaigns in the 2026 mid-term elections.
