According to CoinMeta, in an exclusive interview with Cointelegraph on July 30, Bitwise CIO Matt Hougan stated that there is an important change occurring with DeFi tokens: project revenues are beginning to truly flow back into the tokens. Taking Hyperliquid as an example, the platform uses 99% of its revenues for token repurchase, and the market also rewards this model. At the same time, Uniswap is strengthening the value feedback to UNI, AAVE has eliminated the separation between equity and tokens, and Morpho and Chainlink are also improving the token economics. Hougan believes that the market has not yet re-evaluated these changes, and some assets are still at lower valuations.
