Currently, there are approximately 41.5 million ETH tokens in staking on Ethereum, accounting for about 34% of the total supply, with a staking yield of around 2.67%. Supporters believe that reducing the token supply will help improve the long-term monetary attributes of ETH, while opponents argue that market mechanisms will naturally limit staking growth and that there is no need to adjust the issuance policy.
