According to CoinMeta, as reported by CNBC, the Federal Reserve of the United States no longer expects to raise interest rates at its September meeting, following a month in which the U.S. recorded its third highest monthly unemployment rate since 2020. Despite persistently high inflation in the U.S. economy, forecasters now believe that the Fed will keep interest rates unchanged for the sixth time in a row. Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell stated that if inflation exceeds expectations, the Fed is still prepared to raise rates in September. Inflation data for July will be released on August 12th, and investors will be closely watching it.
