According to CoinMeta, the European Union is advancing the review of the MiCA (market crypto asset regulations), with the aim of targeting rules related to non-EU stablecoins. At the same time, the European Union's Directorate General for Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets has launched consultations to decide whether to review the provisions on stablecoins in the MiCA. Several EU diplomats have stated that a decision has been made, and the review will cover other emerging technologies as well.
