Coinbase CEO: Delays Will Not Slow Down the Adoption of Cryptocurrencies
2026-08-08 17:07:19
According to CoinMeta, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong stated that despite the Senate delaying the process of the Clear Act, the adoption of crypto will continue through stablecoins, tokenization, and the expansion of the digital asset market. He noted that it was disappointing that the Senate failed to advance the bill before the August recess, but this did not stop companies and consumers from adopting digital assets. Armstrong mentioned that the increasing use of stablecoins, the development of the real asset market through tokenization, and broader access to perpetual futures are all positive signs. He emphasized that regulators have provided greater clarity for companies in certain areas. Armstrong believes that despite the uncertainty of the congressional agenda, the momentum behind this technology is still growing.
