BTCPay Server Vulnerabilities Being Actively Exploited, Merchants' Lightning Nodes Under Attack

According to CoinMeta, as reported by CoinDesk, there is a vulnerability in the BTCPay server that is being actively exploited. Attackers can remotely obtain credential files deployed with LND and clear nodes. The hardware wallet manufacturer Foundation is confirmed to be one of the victims. BTCPay urges merchants to immediately update to version 2.4.2 or shut down their servers. The total amount of losses has not yet been disclosed.
