FlashTrade announces closure, Anatoly Yakovenko responds that product success depends on itself
2026-08-09 11:56:21
According to CoinMeta, the founder of FlashTrade, Anas, announced the closure of the Solana perpetual contract protocol FlashTrade and sought to sell the technical stack to compensate the holders of FAF. He attributed the closure to team disagreements, a shrinking market, and a lack of profitability, and claimed that Solana Foundation was indifferent to the project. The co-founder of Solana, Anatoly Yakovenko, responded that the foundation cannot determine whether the product will be successful; its role is to assist GTM and increase exposure. Whether the attention can ultimately be converted into users depends on the product itself.
