Specter Monitoring: Wallets Related to Coinsbuy Lost Over $7.9 Million in Theft

According to CoinMeta, as monitored by Specter, wallets related to Coinsbuy were suspected of being stolen on August 9th at around 21:00 Beijing time on Tron and Ethereum, resulting in a loss of over 7.9 million US dollars. The attackers then transferred the stolen funds through exchanges to Monero for money laundering. With the assistance of ChangeNow, Specter has frozen a portion of the stolen funds amounting to six digits. Following the incident, Coinsbuy temporarily suspended its recharge and withdrawal services, which have now been resumed.
