According to CoinMeta, the Financial Services Commission of South Korea (FSC) has launched a project to improve the financial fraud compensation system, with the aim of including losses from virtual assets within the scope of compensation. The project plans to reform the existing won-based compensation calculation system and will be implemented starting from October this year. The reformed system will use a compensation ratio that takes into account the type and quantity of virtual assets, as well as their exchange value in won at the time of payment suspension.
