According to CoinMeta, with the access restrictions imposed by OpenAI, the founder of Bitcoin Red Team stated that they were forced to turn to using a Chinese open-source AI model for research in order to protect Bitcoin's infrastructure. The team has discovered 1,288 critical and high-risk vulnerabilities, emphasizing that even the most powerful AI tools failed to provide defenders with the necessary capabilities. AnchorWatch CEO Rob Hamilton expressed great disappointment after finding that access rights were restricted following the integration of OpenAI. Hamilton pointed out that hackers would not discover these issues, but white-hat hackers would.
