According to CoinMeta, as reported by Japanese media, the weakening of the yen has brought significant commercial benefits to Japanese multinational corporations, with many companies raising their performance forecasts during the latest financial reporting season. Despite recent intervention measures taken by the Japanese government, the market expects the yen to remain under pressure. Companies with a high proportion of overseas business, including Toyota Motor, Honda Motor, Sony, and the parent company of Muji, have all raised their performance outlooks. A report from Okamoto Securities shows that since July 1st, among the approximately 1,600 constituent companies in the Tokyo Stock Exchange index, 159 companies have raised their fiscal year performance forecasts, while only 12 companies have lowered them, resulting in an overall adjustment rate of 86%, which is the highest level since the 2016 fiscal year.
