JPMorgan: S&P 500 expected to continue rising to 8,000 points
2026-08-10 20:47:07
According to CoinMeta, strategist Dubravko Lakos - Bujas has raised the target price for the S&P 500 (^ GSPC) from 7,800 points to 8,000 points. He noted that 87% of S&P 500 companies have released their financial reports, with overall strong earnings; 78% of the companies exceeded earnings expectations, and 73% exceeded revenue expectations. Lakos-Bujas also mentioned that the return on investment and profitability of artificial intelligence are improving, particularly evident in companies such as Google, Amazon, and Microsoft. Although it is expected that most large-scale cloud computing companies will still have negative free cash flows in the fiscal year 2027, the demand and order coverage rates relative to capital expenditures are improving, which indicates that profitability may grow more rapidly.
