According to CoinMeta, Intel plans to raise approximately $15 billion through a public offering of common stocks to support investments in AI computing, self-developed chips, advanced packaging, external wafer foundry services, and physical AI business. Underwriters have the option to purchase an additional 2.25 billion dollars worth of shares under an over-allotment agreement. Influenced by this fundraising news, Intel's stock price fell 4.62% before the market opened. This year, Intel's AI capital expenditure is expected to reach $1 trillion, and Goldman Sachs predicts that the capital expenditure of hyperscalers will rise to $1.4 trillion by 2027.
