According to CoinMeta, Coinsbuy confirmed that its platform suffered a hacker attack, and investigators estimated the loss to exceed 7.9 million US dollars. The platform stated that all affected customer funds have been fully covered by its own reserves, and users did not suffer any financial losses. Coinsbuy temporarily suspended deposit and withdrawal services before resuming normal operations. The company also offered a reward of 100,000 US dollars for information regarding the identity of the attackers.
