2026-08-11 15:28:55
According to CoinMeta, Decta announced the integration of USDC through the OpenPayd platform for international fund settlements. The company stated that the funds will be transferred to the regulated infrastructure of OpenPayd and then converted into Circle's USDC through its over-the-counter trading services for use in international operational settlements. Decta's Chief Commercial Officer, Lux Thiagarajah, indicated that this integration represents a proprietary financial management use case and will not introduce USDC into the customer payment process. This arrangement is limited to Decta's own funds and is not intended for funds handled on behalf of merchants or other customers. Decta plans to utilize this setup to simplify cross-border transfers while also supporting liquidity management.
