Nomura Securities: Japan's intervention scale may reach 14.1 trillion yen by the end of July
2026-08-11 16:26:59
According to CoinMeta, Nomura Securities stated that the intervention scale by Japan's Ministry of Finance from July 30 to August 3 may have reached 14.1 trillion yen (approximately 88 billion US dollars), exceeding the level of intervention from late April to early May. Previously, the official figures confirmed that the total intervention amounts on April 30, May 4, and May 6 were 11.7349 trillion yen. It is still unclear as to the intervention amounts of both the US and Japan, but it is possible that the United States conducted interventions to short the euro against the yen in order to avoid sending signals that are inconsistent with its strong dollar policy.
