2026-08-11 17:36:25
According to CoinMeta, Coinbase has announced the launch of over 170 types of crypto derivative contracts in the UK, offering professional investors perpetual contracts and regular futures with up to 50 times leverage. Coinbase states that eligible professional clients will gradually gain access to contracts covering cryptocurrencies, commodities, stocks, and foreign exchange over the coming weeks and months. Perpetual futures will make up the largest portion of the new products, supporting over 170 assets and providing 24/7 trading. The company will also add crypto options, allowing professional clients to trade through single-leg or multi-leg strategies. This launch comes after CoinBase recently obtained a MiFID license, which enables it to offer more investment products to UK clients.
