According to CoinMeta, as reported by euronews, Kazakhstan has introduced tax incentives to encourage individuals to declare their crypto assets and transfer them to licensed platforms within the country. Eligible individuals can enjoy a three-year tax exemption for their digital asset transaction income, provided that such activities do not involve fraud, money laundering, or unauthorized crypto services. Local residents are estimated to possess around 1 million crypto wallets, while as of March, there were only about 256,900 registered users on the country's authorized trading platforms. The Deputy Minister of AI and Digital Development of Kazakhstan stated that the government is studying a simplified tax system after the incentive period ends and is considering waiving the relevant tax audits for individual investors over the past three years.
