According to CoinMeta, digital asset infrastructure company Bakkt announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, achieving a net profit of $80.8 million, which reversed a loss of $14.7 million from the same period last year. Revenue during the period decreased by 70% to $170.1 million, mainly due to customer transformation and weak digital asset trading volumes. The financial report shows that this profit was not driven by improvements in its crypto services business, but primarily came from non-cash income of $98.5 million from the revaluation of warrants of Indian listed company Transchem. As of the end of the quarter, Bakkt had $50.7 million in cash, cash equivalents, and restricted cash, and no long-term debts.
