According to CoinMeta, Wu said that the established public chain layer is working with its team and relevant exchanges to prevent and freeze abnormal funds, while also developing fixes and researching rollback solutions. Previously, an analyst on the chain claimed that Harmony was suspected of having been attacked by hackers who unauthorizedly minted approximately 4 billion ONE, which accounts for about 26% of the total supply. About 2.8 billion of these were quickly transferred to exchanges, leading to a significant drop in the price of ONE. The reasons for the attack, the specific losses, and details of the rollback plan have not yet been announced. This public chain went live on its mainnet in 2019, and its native token is ONE. It was once one of the more active cross-chain and DeFi public chains; in 2022, it suffered an attack that resulted in a loss of about 100 million US dollars.
