According to CoinMeta, Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Toshihiro recently held her fourth telephone conversation with Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, calling for a reduction in military tensions in the Strait of Hormuz and emphasizing the importance of ensuring free and safe navigation through the strait. Toshihiro noted that Iran is in communication with relevant countries to ensure the strait remains open and expressed hope that the United States and Iran will engage in consultations based on the memorandum of understanding to reach an agreement on nuclear issues as soon as possible. At the same time, she expressed concern about the situation in the Strait of Mandeb and urged Iran to exert greater restraint on the Houthi armed group.
