According to CoinMeta, Polygon today announced its participation in the second phase of the Bank of England’s Digital Pound Laboratory, joining forces with Nobo, Dun, and Bradstreet. Polygon noted that over the past decade, the relationship between blockchain and banks has not been adversarial, but rather one of collaboration. Central banks are now exploring more use cases for blockchain applications, and Polygon is a core part of these efforts. The company has spent years demonstrating that stablecoins can be used on a large scale, and is now helping central banks to explore similar issues.
