According to CoinMeta, and as reported by Bitfinex, the supply of long-term Bitcoin holders has decreased by about 210,000 coins from the peak of 16.82 million on July 29th. This is the first weekly decline of 2026 and represents the largest two-week drop since December 2024. From August 9th to 11th, the long-term holder ratios were 0.86, 0.90, and 0.86 respectively, with the average transfer prices of these tokens being 10% to 14% lower than their purchase prices. The average cost for sellers was around $71,000 to $76,000, mainly coming from addresses that had just entered the long-term holder category between October 2025 and March 2026. The report indicates that a cost range of $62,000 to $65,000 accounts for approximately 1.79 million coins, which constitutes 8.93% of the circulating supply, continuing to act as a resistance level in this price range. Meanwhile, as of August 8th, the number of addresses holding more than 1,000 coins rose to 3.06 million, setting a new high for 2026.
